Entry Overview
We invite submissions to the competition of the Japan-China International Animation Film Festival.
If you wish to participate, please carefully read the “Entry Regulations” and “Handling of Entry Information” for each category and, upon agreeing to them, submit your entry during the application period via the “Entry Form” on this website.
If you do not agree to the “Entry Regulations” and “Handling of Entry Information,” please refrain from applying.

Competition Categories
Submissions are accepted in the four categories below.

Feature Animation
Animated works completed in or after May 2024 with a running time of 30 minutes or longer
Short Animation
Animated works completed in or after May 2024 with a running time of 5 minutes or longer and less than 30 minutes
Short-Short Animation
Animated works completed in or after May 2024 with a running time of 2 minutes or longer and less than 5 minutes
*Works submitted to this category will be made public for a certain period on the official Japan-China International Animation Film Festival website and official social media channels (YouTube, etc.). Audience voting will also be conducted, and nominated works will be selected based on the voting results during the public release period.
AI Animation
Animated works completed in or after May 2024 with a running time of 2 minutes or longer created using AI technology
*Entries to this category may also be submitted to other categories. However, the work must comply with the entry regulations of each category entered.
